System Brief

Unnecessary Systems that have an impact on the identity of the community, can be adopted under the Community Necessary System, allowing the people to equitably labor towards and access the Unnecessary System as if it we’re a Necessary System.

Justification

  • Necessary Systems
    • This allows Community to be more defined with systems that define the culture and identity of the community.
  • Quality of Life
    • Allows unnecessary systems, “wants”, to be more accessible to all the people. Creating a more enriched and fulfilling experience within the community.
  • Sustainability
    • Adopted systems will be under the same sustainable regulations as all other Necessary Systems.

System Functions

Community Committee Representatives are allowed to introduce new systems to be adopted under the Community Necessary System. These adopted systems can only be passed with a two thirds approval vote by the Community Representatives.

Adopted Community Systems are obligated to the same equitable labor and access granted to Necessary Systems. In the event of an economic shortage, Adopted Community Systems will be deprioritized before Necessary Systems.

  • Labor towards an Adopted Community System is a privilege, and can be revoked in the event of a labor shortage.
  • Members impacted by a labor shortage will have first priority towards labor selection.

Adopting Community Systems should only be approved when an economic surplus has been determined. System adoption will require additional resources and labor to maintain, which may increase the community’s CLO.

System Output

Adopted systems will appear under Community Processes, which will define the aspects and functions of the system. Adopted systems will be regulated for equity, safety, and sustainability.

Community members are not obligated to access or labor towards Adopted Community Systems. Adopted Community Systems are obligated to be equitably accessible to all community members.

System Input

Each adopted system will require their own economic resources. This process does not require any additional resources.
