System Function
All residential structures are standardized based on neighboring proximity:
- Multi-Family Structures
- A single structure that occupies multiple families in separate residences with a shared entrance. Structure may also hold shared spaces and facilities.
- Highest priority for all economic resources.
- Connected Single-Family Structures
- A group of distinct structures connected by at least one wall to a neighboring structure. Each structure has it’s private entrance.
- Second priority for labor resources.
- Detached Single-Family Structures
- A single structure not connected by any walls to another residential structure. Each structure has a private entrance to the immediate land surrounding the structure.
- Last priority for labor resources.
System Output
Shelter cooperatives must prioritize structure production, maintenance, and service based partly on this standard.
