    • Infrastructure
      • Regulation

System Brief

When prioritizing economic resources for personal transportation, sustainability will be the top priority.

Justification

  • Necessary Systems
    • This regulation is required for infrastructure equity and sustainability.
  • Quality of Life
    • This regulation improves prioritization for public transportation.
  • Sustainability
    • This regulation prioritizes sustainably servicing more people with less economic resources.

System Functions

To maintain equity of Infrastructure Transportation, economic resources must be prioritized by sustainability. This regulation will have to take into account various community densities from highly-developed urban areas thru minimally-developed rural areas.

This regulation is only for human transportation, not cargo.

High Density Community

Communities with a population density above ##### people/sq mi.

  • Walkways
    • Accessible by any person, unassisted and medically assisted.
    • Top priority for locations, resources, and labor.
      • Labor only necessary to produce and maintain.
  • Railways
    • Accessible to rail vehicles, including, but not limited to: trains, subways, trolleys, etc.
    • Top priority for locations, resources, and labor.
      • Labor is necessary for vehicle service.
  • Roadways
    • Accessible to road vehicles, including, but not limited to: trucks, buses, cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
    • Cooperative vehicles have second priority for locations, resources, and labor.
    • Private vehicles have no priority for locations, resources, and labor.
      • Private vehicles can access community resources to maintain private vehicles. Non-standard resources will not be prioritized.
  • Waterways
    • Accessible to water vehicles, including, but not limited to: boats, barges, ferries, etc.
    • Cooperative vehicles have top priority for locations, resources, and labor.
    • Private vehicles have second for locations, and no priority towards resources and labor.
      • Private vehicles can access community resources to maintain private vehicles. Non-standard resources will not be prioritized.
  • Airways
    • Accessible to air vehicles, including, but not limited to: planes, helicopters, drones, etc.
    • Cooperative vehicles have top priority for locations, resources, and labor.
    • Private vehicles have second priority for locations, and no priority towards resources and labor.
      • Private vehicles can access community resources to maintain private vehicles. Non-standard resources will not be prioritized.

Low Density Community

Communities with a population density below ##### people/sq mi.

    • Accessible by any person, unassisted and medically assisted.
    • Top priority for locations, resources, and labor.
      • Labor only necessary to produce and maintain.

System Outputs

This regulation will prioritize public mass transit systems above personal vehicles for the sake of sustainability. Personal vehicles have the biggest impact, being deprioritized in high density communities.

Low density communities prioritize personal vehicles the same as cooperative vehicles in terms of resources and labor. This will require additional labor to maintain relative to high density public transportation.
