System Brief

This regulation limits the distribution of residential structures to maintain equity and sustainability.

Justification

Define the benefits from the outputs of the system.

  • Necessary Systems
    • This ensures all community members have access to at least one (1) residential structure.
  • Improves Quality of Life
    • This guarantees all people a consistent shelter without fear of homelessness.
  • Improves Sustainability
    • This limits the unsustainable production, maintenance, and service to unsustainable structures.

System Functions

When distributing shelters, the community members must comply with the following conditions:

  • You are entitled private access to one (1) residential structure.
  • Your residence must be at least #00 sq/ft per person.
    • Residences above ##00 sq/ft per person may be deprioritized towards labor and resources.
  • Multi-Dwelling Structures have first priority for availability, labor, and resources.
  • Connected Single-Dwelling Structures have second priority.
  • Disconnected Structures have last priority.
  • Moving out of an existing residence will return responsibility of the structure to the Shelter Committee for redistribution.
  • Returned or evicted structures in a state of unsustainable maintenance will deprioritize your available selection.
    • Repeated offenses may remove your privilege of choice.
