As a Software Designer, it is your responsibility to intake user and existing landscape information of a specific topic or concern. Use that information to explore new ideas and opportunities to fulfill the needs of that topic/concern. Finally, produce documentation for Software Engineers, Services, and Cooperatives to communicate software intentions and instructions.

Cooperative Collaborations

Software Designers can help all other Cooperatives to design software to help them fulfill their functions.

Committee Representation

Software Designers can participate in Infrastructure, Information Technology, and Software Committees.

System Outputs

Software Designers output Software Design Documentation, which defines what a piece of software is supposed to look and feel like to the end user.

• This documentation can be distributed to Software Engineers to define what needs to be built.
• This documentation can be distributed to Software Servicers to define the educational instructions for using the software.
• This documentation can be distributed to Software Committees to be maintained and distributed to other Software Cooperatives.
