System Brief
Necessary economic assets that cannot be produced as a whole or partly within the community, must be accessed from another community. To maintain equity between communities, resources and labor will need to be exchanged in order for all participating communities to sustainably maintain themselves. No individual community can be expected to participate in a multi-community asset without equitable exchange.
Justification
- Supports a Necessary System
- Necessary Systems may require economic assets that are physically impossible to produce internally and will require the cooperation of mutliple communities.
- Improves Quality of Life
- Globalized economic assets allow more people to participate and specialize in production, maintenance, and services of economic assets. Improving the quality of life with more sophisticated features and safety regulations.
- Improves Sustainability
- Globalized logistics allow for more efficient production processes.
System Functions
Communities will need to equitably exchange economic assets in order to equitably access multi-community produced assets. Including but not limited to, information technology, medical equipment and resources, large-scale transportation and infrastructure, etc.
Resource production is dependent on the location of raw materials. Raw materials are prioritized by proximity to the source location.
- First Priority is towards the community of the source location.
- Second Priority is towards participating external communities.
- Third Priority is towards emergencies of all communities.
The community that contains the source location is not obligated to labor towards exports of the produced assets. To maintain equity, labor will be provided by the participating communities. The amount of labor will be equivalent to the amount of resources being exported.
Information is freely exchanged.
Cooperative Collaborations
The source location community will require the responsible cooperative to allow and schedule external labor to participate in exporting assets. The receiving community will require a local cooperative to provide the exporting labor, maintain and service the importing assets.
Committee Representation
Both communities will need to establish an Imports and Exports Committee to govern the information between communities and cooperatives.
System Outputs
This process will allow the equitable exchange and access of multi-community produced assets.
System Inputs
This process will require labor to be exported to communities of resource source locations.
